The Concussion Group / Doctors Imaging
The Concussion Group is a collaboration of neuro-scientific experts who have developed a qDTI program for detecting brain damage caused by concussions (mTBI or mild Traumatic Brain Injuries). qDTI (quantitative Diffusion Tensor Imaging) is an objective and effective method of advanced brain imaging with specialized MRI technology that can detect nerve damage not seen on routine MRI or CT scans. Led by Dr. Edward Soll, The Concussion Group offers the only program in the Gulf South region to offer quantitative DTI scans. The scans are performed at Doctors Imaging in Metairie, Louisiana where they are evaluated in conjunction with experts at MINDSET, a neuro-imaging institute at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Soll has offered his expertise in evaluating hundreds of patients experiencing difficulties associated with vehicular and industrial accidents, explosions, toxic exposures and athletic injuries.
