Friends of BIALA: Leading Through Philanthropy
Learn how your passion can change the world!
Welcome and thank you to our new “Friends of BIALA!” The “Friends” program was launched at an inaugural event in September to help support the programs that serve brain and spinal cord injury survivors throughout Louisiana. Our charter members are a dedicated community of humanitarian leaders who advance BIALA’s mission through a focused investment of philanthropy, guidance and volunteerism.
By mobilizing their collective commitment to philanthropy and volunteer service, they help raise awareness for people with brain and spinal cord injuries, and inspire others to make a difference in the lives of these individuals.
Please join the movement and see how you can make a difference. BIALA and our charter member “Friends” will welcome you into the circle and show how you can broaden our efforts to reach more supporters while putting your passion to work to help improve the quality of life of brain and spinal cord injury survivors in our state.
You can participate in or be a sponsor at our annual conference (March 9-10, 2018, “Facing the Future”); host a welcome event for new members; join an event committee; be a Peer Mentor; get involved with our Sports/Recreation Partnership with BISCIS in New Orleans or Cajun Crushers in Baton Rouge; or volunteer at our art-based exhibit “Unmasking Brain Injury,” which is traveling around the state to raise awareness of brain injury and help educate the population at large about BIALA.

2018 Boo Bash with Friends of BIALA
Special thanks to Boo Bash hosts Holly and Geoff Snodgrass
Friends of BIALA, our philanthropic leadership circle, enjoyed an evening of spooky frivolity at the October 6 Boo Bash at the home of Holly and Geoff Snodgrass. Thank you to everyone who joined us and for helping to support over 700 brain and spinal cord injury survivors throughout Louisiana.
