Disaster Relief Grant Application

Thanks to the Neilsen Foundation, United Spinal Association is accepting applications for Disaster Relief Grants for individuals with spinal cord injury/disorder (SCI/D) who have been impacted by natural disasters in 2025/26 (such as hurricane, tornadoes, floods).

To qualify for a disaster relief grant from United Spinal Association of Louisiana, you must:

  • Be a person with a spinal cord injury/disorder who has been affected by a natural disaster in 2025 or 2026
  • Be a resident of Louisiana and use grant funding specifically in Louisiana
  • Have a financial need
  • List specifically on application how grant funding will be used
  • Be able to provide documentation of disability and financial need
