Connecting Individuals through Recreation, Community, Learning, and Engagement
Connections Circle is an inclusive program designed to bring together individuals living with brain and/or spinal cord injuries, their caregivers, and families through a mix of virtual and in-person educational, wellness, social, and recreational activities. The program aims to engage current participants more deeply while reaching new individuals, including those in rural areas, to ensure they benefit from BIALA’s programs and services. Taking on the role of a caregiver for a loved one or a friend is a huge responsibility. It can be a massively rewarding, positive experience. However, many find that it can be lonely and isolating without proper support from loved ones or caregiver support groups.
This support group allows caregivers to share expertise, concerns, or experiences in a safe, supportive environment.
