Our departments for spinal surgery, neuroscience, and neurosurgery are ranked in the top 5 in Louisiana, according to Healthgrades. We have a prestigious cancer program accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons, as well as an Advanced Certification for Comprehensive Stoke Centers by The Joint Commission.
Rehabilitation Center is a state-of-the-art, 24 private bed facility that provides comprehensive medical rehabilitation services for individuals who have experienced a decline in their physical and/or cognitive abilities, due to an illness or injury. Our highly skilled team is dedicated to helping patients maximize functional mobility to return them to previous or modified home, work, or leisure roles.
The interdisciplinary team approach consists of 24-hour physician coverage, 24 hour rehab nursing care, comprehensive therapy services provided 5-6 days per week, patient/family education and support, psycho-social services, pastoral care, case management, leisure activity programming and animal assisted therapy.
