The Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Center at Opelousas General Health System helps people return home and regain their highest level of functioning as quickly as possible after an event or illness requiring hospitalization.

We take a multidisciplinary approach to your care. Your team is managed by the physiatrist and Medical Physician, and includes you, family members, rehabilitation nurses, case manager/social workers, physical and occupational therapists, speech pathologists and dietitians.

The Rehabilitation Center provides highly specialized care for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other debilitating illnesses.
