New Heights Therapeutic Riding is a 501(c)(3) non-profit located in Folsom, Louisiana. We help people who have physical, cognitive, and emotional difficulties reach their full potential through equine therapy.

We have a fully handicap accessible facility with a covered arena and a 16 stall barn. Our arena is equipped with a wheelchair accessible ramp and a lift, which can hold up to 1,200 pounds to assist wheelchair bound clients to mount the horse.

Therapeutic riding instructors are certified through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International to provide equine assisted activities and therapies to participants.

NOEL provides mentoring, education, and housing rehabilitation assistance through various grants.

NOEL’s “Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program” provides rehabilitation services to the homes of elderly and/or disabled, low-income residents of Jefferson Parish at no cost to the homeowner. These projects fix quality of life issues that may have a negative impact on the health and safety of the home owner. Repairs also may include rehabilitation services that make the home more handicapped accessible.
