Our mission is to serve people with physical disabilities through sport and fitness with meaningful grants. Over the last 27 years, we have given over 30,000 grants to individuals with permanent physical disabilities worldwide. The grants we award are for travel & competition expenses, coaching & training expenses, and adaptive sports equipment. Lead with independence. Canine Companions® provides service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities and facility dogs to professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice and educational settings - at no cost to our clients

Canine Companions serves:

• Adults with physical or auditory disabilities.
• Children with physical or cognitive disabilities aged five or older or adults with physical or cognitive disabilities who require the assistance of a facilitator such as a parent, caregiver or spouse.
• Veterans with a physical or auditory disability or post-traumatic stress disorder* (PTSD).
• Professionals working in a health care, visitation, criminal justice or education setting.
